Complete interior renovation for a small apartment in Utrecht

A new design was made for 1910 apartment near the Central Station of Utrecht. The young couple who is living there wanted to renovate their apartment and bring it into the 21^st century. In the new design, the living spaces are opened up, making it more spacious and lighter, letting you flow through the architecture, while still maintaining diverse spots to sit and relax, read a book and enjoy a cosy evening.

For this design two options were made. The design option 1 is more closed and classic. Design option 2 the focus lay on how to flow through the dwelling.
